Sample Japan Trip Itineraries You Can Follow

At last! It has been long overdue since I haven’t created a follow-up blog post about Japan. Most of the time I stayed a lot in Tokyo for a total of 16 days and Osaka in 5 days. Here are a sample Japan trip itineraries I created but most are based on my experience.

Sample Japan Trip Itinerary 14 Days

Japan itinerary 14 days is based on my personal trip to Tokyo with the accommodations were in Shinjuku, Shin-Okubu, Asakusa, and Osaka where I stayed with my Japanese family.

1st Day – Tokyo

• Flight from the Philippines to Tokyo
• Shinjuku – Tokyo Metropolitan Government, Kabukicho, Shinjuku Golden Gai for dinner
• Marunouchi – Imperial Palace Garden
• Chiyoda – Yasukuni Shrine
• Minato – Tokyo Tower

Where to Stay in Tokyo for Tourists?

2nd Day – Tokyo

• Ginza – Tsukiji Fish Market, Ginza Shopping Street, Ginza Kabukiza (Theatre and Tower), Ginza Yonchome Intersection
• Roppongi – Color (nightclub free for women during Fridays and Saturdays)

3rd Day – Tokyo

• Shibuya – Shibuya crossing, Hachiko Statue, Meiji-Jingu/Shrine, Harajuku, Takeshita Street

4th Day – Tokyo

• Asakusa – Sensoji Temple, onsen or public bath
• Sumida – Tokyo Solamachi, Tokyo Skytree
• Ueno – Ueno Park

5th Day – Tokyo

• Akihabara
• Tokyo Station

6th Day – Yokohama Day Trip

• Minato Mirai
• Yokohama Landmark Sky Garden
• Yamashita Park
• Seabass
• Landmark Tower
• Yokohama Chinatown
• Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse
• NYK Hikawamaru Exhibits
• Kisahimichi Promenade
• Marine Tower
• Yokohama Bay Bridge

7th Day – Saitama Day Trip

• You can avail of the Round Trip Seibu Kawagoe Pass in Ikebukuro, Tokyo.

• Osaka Castle
• Minami (Namba)
• Onsen

10th Day – Osaka

• Umeda Sky Building
• Osaka Station City

1st Day – Kyoto

• Manila to Osaka flight
• Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Sanne-zaka and Ninen-zaka, Chion-in Temple, Shoren-in Temple, Nishiki Market, Fushimi-Inari Taisha Shrine

2nd Day – Kyoto

• Tenryu-ji Temple, Bamboo Forest, Okochi-Sanso Villa, Kinkaku-ji Temple, Daitoku-ji Temple, Koto-in Temple
