Salagdoong Beach Resort in Siquijor
Last Updated on June 5, 2025 by Roxanne Tamayo

If you’re planning a trip to Siquijor and craving that sweet combo of adventure and chill, you have to add Salagdoong Beach Resort to your itinerary. It’s one of those places where you can soak up the sun, swim in clear turquoise waters, and cliff dive if you’re feeling brave — all without blowing your budget!
We spent less than an hour at Cambugahay Falls then decided to continue our swimming session at Salagdoong Beach Resort. We just love beautiful beaches so we got excited to take a swim here.
Getting There: A Scenic Ride Worth It
From Larena or Siquijor port, you can easily rent a scooter for around ₱300–₱350 per day. I personally enjoy driving around the island — the roads are pretty smooth, and the coastal views are just wow. If you’re not comfortable riding a scooter, hiring a tricycle is also an option (just be ready to haggle a bit!).
Location: Olang, Maria, Siquijor
What to Expect at Salagdoong Beach
When I arrived, I paid an entrance fee of just ₱50 and a ₱20 parking fee. Super affordable! The beach has two sides — one with a concrete platform perfect for lounging or cliff jumping, and another with fine white sand where you can relax or take a dip.
The Famous Cliff Diving Spot

Yes, the rumors are true. Salagdoong is known for its cliff diving platforms — about 5m and 10m high. I admit, I hesitated for a few minutes (okay, more like 15 😅), but I finally jumped! The adrenaline rush was real, and the water was incredibly refreshing.
Tip: Best to cliff dive during high tide and check with locals or lifeguards before jumping.
Facilities and Accommodations
The beach has:
- Showers and changing rooms
- A picnic area (bring your own food!)
- A small restaurant on site
There’s also a government-run resort with air-conditioned rooms if you want to stay overnight. Personally, I didn’t stay the night, but I saw a few backpackers and local families staying there.
Snorkeling and Chill Time
If you have snorkeling gear with you, bring it! The water is crystal clear and the coral reef nearby is worth exploring. Even just floating around near the shore, I saw a few colorful fish.

Beautiful photos of Salagdoong Beach Resort
The place is super Instagram-worthy — from the heart-shaped rock formations to the diving platforms and that iconic stretch of white sand. It’s best to visit early in the day to avoid crowds and get those soft morning light shots.
Before we had our swim, of course, we took several scenery shots of the beach. We fell in love how blue and green the water and the plants were.

I find myself wordless for this post because the pictures speak it all how beautiful Salagdoong Beach is.

So here’s a video I created together with the pictures I took. I have several photos of us while we were on the beach so this video is a great way to showcase the images.
Final Thoughts: Why I Love Salagdoong
