The Beauty of Kalanggaman Island Tours Photos
Last Updated on June 26, 2025 by Roxanne Tamayo

Searching for Kalanggaman Island tours photos? Summer 2016 is coming and I just decided to post photos of my Kalanggaman Island trip in 2015. It’s just now I’m able to work on my photos as most of the time I am busy with work. Time to catch up some blog posts for my Travel Summary in 2015.

Kalanggaman Island is an island located in Palompon, Leyte and can also be reached via Malapascua Island in the northern part of Cebu. I decided to re-visit the island in March 2015 on a solo trip. The first trip happened in 2010 with relatives. From the Malapascua island, travel time to Kalanggaman island is 3-4 hours.

From Palompon, Leyte it can take you less than an hour. It’s just so amazing that after five years of my visit, the beauty of Kalanggaman island still remains. The day I arrived on the island of Malapascua, a local approached me if I would love to join with other people for the day trip. Good thing I was able to negotiate and he gave me a discount.
For this trip, the locals will pay PhP800 and international guests will pay PhP1, 000. This trip happened in 2015 so the price may vary.

I remember in 2010 with my relatives, they were just a few people around that the boatmen were able to catch fish nearby the boat. The second trip made me enjoy more with my snorkeling gear.

Kalanggaman island is proud of its sand bar. Let your eyes enjoy the cerulean waters, feel your feet in the sand and let the sunshine kiss your glowing skin. I hope you are enjoying the Kalanggaman island photos.

The disadvantage of traveling solo is that you will take a lot of selfie but be thankful with a fellow traveler who offers to take photos of you. Time to take off my yellow dress.

I had no idea what I was doing in the photo. I wasn’t ready for it, though I like it because it was candid.

Of course, the jump shot!

I am just speechless while looking at the Kalanggaman Island tours photos and I don’t even know what to write.

Definitely, Kalanggaman Island is a must visit. I just hope that this island remains its pureness and virginity.

By the way, you can enjoy having an overnight stay on the island. Just bring your tent and food. The fee for the overnight stay may vary.

Wow! Thank you for sharing this. Another beautiful island to be included in my list. Sana mapuntahan ko ito.
OMG! Your photos are very cool! The candid one is very “ahhhhhh” so nice. We were supposed to go to Kalanggaman Island last week for a summer outing with friends, but it was cancelled because of some reasons. Thankfully, the plan is still on and I’m very excited about it.
Yes it’s worth the visit.
What a nice island. Love the colours. I certainly need to go there in the near future. Thanks for sharing.
You should visit 😊
