As a busy mom, I need to try some quick things to do in Paris. As one of the top-most visited cities in the world going to Paris is a dream destination. Thanks to my husband for helping me check it off my bucket list.
There are many things to see and do in Paris, including visiting iconic landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Louvre Museum, strolling along the Seine River and through the charming neighborhoods of the city, trying delicious French food and wine, and shopping at markets and stores. You can also visit cultural institutions such as theaters, galleries, and libraries, or spend time in the city’s parks and gardens. Paris is known for its vibrant nightlife, with various bars, clubs, and music venues to choose from. Additionally, the city is home to a number of festivals and events throughout the year, such as the Fête de la Musique and the Paris Marathon.
As a new mama, I don’t have much freedom compared to when I was single and a solo traveler. My husband and I decided to leave our baby to the grandparents so that we could have a quick date. I was also pregnant with our second so it would be difficult for us to carry our firstborn. To make things easy for us, we decided to chill and have quick things to do in Paris, France.
Going around Paris doesn’t need to be expensive. For sure, you will spend money on gasoline for your car. I suggest renting a car in Paris. Before we spent the whole day, I requested my husband to have some kebab, fries, and soda as I was craving it. We spent about 15 euros for each person and it was a full meal for the day. Enjoy the day with inexpensive things to do in Paris.
Lighting a Candle at Sacré-Coeur Basilica of Montmartre
This is the first place we visited as it is a must-visit for me to go to a Roman Catholic church. And the least I could do is to light a candle, say my prayers to God and to my dead loved ones, and be grateful for all the blessings I received in the past years and present. Located in the butte of Montmartre, where artists flock and have a good time.

Passing by Arc de Triomphe |Quick Things to Do in Paris
We passed by Arc de Triomphe. My husband parked the car very quickly so that I could get out of the car and take photos of the monument.
You can enjoy the panoramic view of Paris by booking a tour via Klook, a Skip-the-line ticket to Arc de Triomphe.

Watch a Moulin Rouge Show with Dinner
Makes me want to sing Lady Marmalade by the time we just passed by the facade of the Moulin Rouge building. You can get out of the car and take a photo but I was too lazy. But if we got the chance, I would love to watch a Moulin Rouge Show with Dinner via Klook as it is a must for travelers.

Visiting the Eiffel Tower by Day or Night
Eiffel Tower is one the most iconic landmarks in Paris and people make it the first thing to take a photo of. Of course, I was excited and it made my heart giggle when I finally saw the Eiffel Tower with my own eyes. My husband took me to different spots to have photos of the Eiffel Tower. Better to have photos by day and night.
You can do the Paris City Tour and Skip-the-Line for Eiffel Tower with the option to take the cruise.
Location: Champ de Mars, 5 Av. Anatole France, 75007 Paris
The Pyramids at the Louvre Museum
We found a place to park the car so we went to the Louvre Museum to see the pyramids. We just took a photo outside. But if you’re interested to see famous artwork like Mona Lisa, go do it and book a tour via Klook Skip-the-Line for Louvre Museum with a guided tour to avoid long queues. Sure, I can go back anytime to Paris and enjoy seeing many artworks and getting to know more about the history of France.
Location: Rue de Rivoli, 75001 Paris
The Notre Dame Cathedral
I got familiar with the cathedral because of the animated movie, the Hunchback of Notre Dame. By the time of our visit, we were not able to take photos of the whole cathedral. It was busy with some work. Later on, we realized that there was a concert going on after seeing it on TV. But would love to get inside as soon as the cathedral will be fully restored. And that makes me want to watch the Disney animated movie.
