Living like a local in Palawan means I have the time to search for places on where to eat in Puerto Princesa. My ultimate hobby here is just jumping from one restaurant to another. I love to eat and somehow I gain and lose weight in different months depends if I’m broke or not. Every time friends and guests come over, I recommend them a list of where to eat in Puerto Princesa.

Are you looking for Filipino Restaurants?
KaLui Restaurant
Locals here recommend KaLui Restaurant and it is the most visited restaurant by tourists and locals. They serve seafood and vegetables. It has a good ambiance and all you have to do is just chill. You need to leave your shoes and their floor is kind of smooth. Best to eat here with friends and family. When staying in a hotel, ask your receptionist to reserve a table. Not a problem. I celebrated my birthday here in 2017.

Ka Inato Main Branch
Ka Inato Restaurant serves Filipino food, seafood, and vegetables. I was here with my mom back in 2015 during our 4 days and 3 nights stay in Puerto Princesa. Just like KaLui Restaurant, they have the artsy ambiance. I was impressed when they hire PWD employees who are deaf and mute to help the community who can work and live like normal people.

KinaBuch’s Grill and Bar
Sometimes, when guests are looking for a place to dine in with drinks, I suggest KinaBuch’s Grill and Bar. They have much variety on their menu of Filipino food, seafood, meat (chicken, pork, beef), crocodile sisig and tamilok (woodworm). Of course, order some beer and cocktails as well.

McCoy’s Pizza House
McCoy’s Pizza House is my favorite pizza place in town as it is near to my place and the airport. So I usually come here with my laptop and work while eating pizza. I always buy the 10-inch pizza and I can finish it in one hour.

Are you Vegetarian?
Namaskar Vegetarian House
I used to be not a fan of vegetarian food but I appreciate the food here at Namaskar Vegetarian House. It’s very affordable for at least PHP 55 and the fruit shakes are good. So I can order 2-3 meals as spending your time eating here is all worth it. I recommend this place to vegetarian friends and brought them here.
