The next day of our Siquijor trip was the whole day tour of the Isla de Fuego. Our first destination was the Balete Tree. It is believed to be 400 years old. Well, I don’t want to talk about magical creatures living here. But just to respect the place, we tried to keep our voices low and of course, appreciate Mother Nature.
We got our free fish spa and fishes were not after on my feet. It’s not my first time on a fish spa because I have tried at a certain mall in Cebu. I guess my feet were not that dirty enough to feed them.
The Balete tree is just so mystical.
Aren’t they lucky that they have this clean and clear water? My friends below also had their moment with the fishes.
Tata is having herĀ muni-muniĀ moment…
This photo, you can see how tall the tree is…
We stayed here between 15 to 20 minutes. We left the place with our names written on a visitor’s log book and donated some money for the maintenance of the place.
